Privacy Policy
Your legal questions are sensitive. Your folder is protected by your account. You choose which saved documents and factual notes are included in an assistant message.
What we store
We store your account name, public passkey information, conversation, jurisdiction, notes and uploaded files to provide your workspace. Passkey private keys stay with your device or passkey provider. Recovery codes and session credentials are stored as hashes. Limited technical and usage records help protect the service and enforce usage limits.
Assistant processing
When you send a message, an AI processing service receives your question, recent conversation and jurisdiction. Saved factual notes are included only when you select that option. Documents are included only when you allow processing and select them for that message. Uploaded video and audio stay in your folder; automatic video or audio analysis is not connected.
Research and voice
Legal research uses online search and official publisher pages. The assistant is instructed to keep private identifiers out of search queries, but this is not a guarantee that every answer or query is correct. Optional spoken playback uses your device or browser voice service. Dictation may use a speech service provided by your browser or operating system.
Training and retention
Street Legal AI does not run model training on your folders. Our AI provider does not use API content for model training by default. We disable saved response storage in our assistant requests, but providers may retain content for safety, operational or legal reasons, commonly for up to 30 days with exceptions. We do not claim zero data retention. Saved folders and originals remain in your account.
Sharing
Hosting and AI processing providers handle information as needed to operate the service. We do not sell your personal information or place advertising trackers on your legal questions. No lawyer receives your folder automatically. Attorney verification and matching are not active. We may disclose information when legally required.
Your controls
You can download your files and preparation packets, edit file descriptions, change document processing permission, and choose whether to include factual notes in each message. Keep your account recovery code private. Support contact details and additional data-management controls are being completed for this early release.
